Fall has been an incredibly productive time at Swift, but we haven't been great at sharing all our progress. There's some super exciting stuff coming very soon to you all, and today marks the first step.
Here's what we've launced:

A long-time issue that some of you had was that there wasn't an easy way to email clients through Swift. If you had to cancel a class, promote the upcoming camp, or email their members - you had to export that list of customers, and then go to Constant Contact, Mailchimp, etc.
That changes today.
The next time you login to Admin, you'll notice a "New" beside the Marketing tab. Click on that, and you'll see the whole new Email Blasts section.
From here, you can:
The best part is, you can also easily email via a "quick action" from a bunch of different spots in the Admin. Places like:
Now you might wonder, how do your clients opt-in to your marketing list? We got you.
Swift will automatically ask your existing customers if they want to opt-in to your marketing list when they make their next booking or purchase. For any new accounts, they'll be asked when they first create their account (check out the update below for more on this).
This feature is still in Beta, and a lot will change. We don't exactly know how y'all are going to use this yet, but we're nervously excited to share it with you. So if there's any feedback (good, bad, or ugly) - please reply to this email and share it with us.
Going forward, this takes us in the direction of:
It's also worth noting that this isn't meant to replace your existing email marketing tool. We believe Swift is at it's best when we focus on the core job of helping you run and automate your facility.
So being able to send an email to your clients is a core part of that. BUT for anything fancy (email drip sequences, A/B testing subject lines, etc) - you should still use something like Constant Contact
You asked, and we delivered!
Another common set of requests was around "account creation". We heard all sorts of requests things like:
And we hit them all out of the park.
The new account creation flow allows your clients to provide all the info. you want upfront so you don't have any more of those pesky "empty accounts". It also gives you an easy link which you can put on your iPad or monitor on the front desk, to allow people to create accounts on their own.
We hope it helps you out!! If you have any other suggestions on this - reply directly to this email and let us know!
Team work makes the dream work
And that's all folks!
As always, we're constantly working on making the tool better for you and your clients. With that in mind, here's what's coming up next in Swift
