This spring, the Swift team shipped some critical features to help you with camp season...

As all our facilities prep for summer camps, clinics, and programs - the Swift team was laser focused during the spring to make camp setup easier. We also took "spring cleaning" to heart and improved a bunch of other things.

Here's what we've been up-to:

1. Class filters & search on the booking page

2. Multiple times for drop-in classes + an easy way to create them in the calendar

3. Assigning memberships manually

4. Refunds

5. Sign in with Google

6. 9384+ other small improvements, bug fixes, and tweaks

Search & filters for classes on your booking page

A lot of you offer tons of different programs during the summer, but this means that your booking page can often get overwhelming and confusing for parents & kids.

At Swift, our goal is to make the checkout process as easy as possible for your customers so you can make that sweet revenue (& not have to field phone calls!)

So earlier this month, we shipped filters & a search bar on the classes section of your booking page. Your customers can now easily find the class they're looking for, filter for specific times, instructors, age ranges, and even order the resulting programs based on price or start time.

These capabilities will also shortly ship on other parts of your booking page so customers can continue to easily find the services they love at your business

Multiple Times for Drop-In Classes

Ever wish that you could just drag-and-drop in the calendar and "open up" a new time for a drop-in class?

Well your wish is our command.

You can now do exactly that! Drop-in classes can support multiple "times", so you can run your top programs over and over again in the future without having to duplicate and create a brand new class every time. The best part is, you can do this through both the Class setup form and the calendar, making it ultra-easy to add a new time (just drag and drop!)

Assigning memberships

A common annoyance for facilities was having to go to Stripe to manually assign a membership if a customer walks in. Not everyone has Stripe access, and those that do aren't always at the front-desk.

Now you can easily do this from the Swift admin!

Just visit the specific customer's activity tab, and there you'll see a new button that says "Assign membership". When you click it, you'll get the option to choose the membership, add a coupon code, and specify the card to charge!

An even easier way to lock in that recurring revenue!

Refunds

Sometimes, you also have to part with the money - whether it's a cancellation, a sick kid, or an incorrect charge.

Similar to assigning memberships, previously you'd have to manually go to Stripe to process the refund for a particular charge. Not anymore!

You can do this directly in Swift - just visit the customer's payment history, and click the "Refund" icon on the left to issue a full or partial refund back to the card that was charged.

We're trying our best to bring all your most important day-to-day flows in Swift, so everything you need to manage your business is in one location.

Sign in With Google

And last but not the least, in the spirit of making the customer experience lightning fast - we've also shipped "Sign In/Up with Google"!

No more waiting for clunky codes in your inbox, just two clicks and your account is created. Ridiculously fast!

And that's all folks!

What's next?

You might have noticed that some of the items below have been on this list for a while.

We know.

We had to switch things temporarily in spring from our regular scheduled roadmap to make classes, camps, and programs as easy as possible before summer hits. This was a huge frustration for many of you, and it needed to be prioritized.

With that behind us though, here's a taste of what's coming up in the next few months:

  • Attendance reports for classes & camps
  • SMS notifications & reminders
  • Email marketing
  • Custom staff permissions & roles
  • A branded mobile app?!
  • and more....
