As for October, here is a list of new features shipped:
Buckle up… we got lots to cover 🚘
Keeping your facility protected is crucial.
Improving our digital waivers feature, you can now easily check the status of a customer’s waiver agreement in the calendar. More importantly, you can now show customers the waiver at the front desk and sign on their behalf (if enabled).
How does it work?
Prior to signing on behalf of customers, you will need to enable this setting under the “Liability Waiver” setting in “General” settings. From there, navigate to the customer's profile and under the “Waiver Acknowledgment” you’ll see a new button appear if the customer has yet to sign your waiver. Alternatively, when creating a new customer in admin you can also complete the waiver signing process.
This change also brings a new UI improvement to the calendar allowing you to quickly identify if a customer has signed your waiver.
Not sure what to include in your waiver? We’ve got you covered. Check out our free waiver template.
Setting unique roles and permissions is a key feature of facility management. But sometimes Swift's three roles felt a little restrictive - pigeonholing all your employees into two categories (“Staff” or “Instructor”).
Not anymore!
We’ve introduced the “Admin” role, which is geared towards management staff, co-owners, or anyone else who may benefit from an additional flexible role.
As always, permissions can be completely customized for each staff role!
A small but mighty quality-of-life improvement to the checkout flow is added credit visibility for admin bookings.
In the past, it was hard for a front desk staff or instructor to know if the customer has eligible credits when processing a booking. Now, right on the checkout module you will see how many credits are available to be redeemed (if the customer has a package and/or membership providing credits).
We’ve been overrun with requests from facilities to allow 24/7 bookings after we launched our door locks integration. Unfortunately, a past limitation in our code required facilities to have a 15-minute closed period. As a spooky surprise ahead of halloween our engineering team has addressed this - allowing facilities to enable 24/7 bookings (and a UI fix to showcase this on the booking page).
That’s all.. for now 👀
Our team is dedicated to making Swift a faster, easier, and more beautiful experience for you, your staff, and your customers. We still have plenty of improvements and new features to be shipped before the new year!
