We hope you are enjoying your holidays and finding time to unwind going into the new year. Our team has been working tirelessly to end 2024 with a bang ‼️

Now before we get into the updates for this month, let’s take a look back at all things 2024 for Swift 🎉

🎉2024 SWIFT WRAPPED ⏪

This year has been incredible by all accounts for us at Swift. The product, team, and company have grown exponentially! We wanted to highlight a few of our favorite moments, surprises, and product releases from the year 👏

Don’t worry… we’ll let you know what is on the roadmap for 2025 in just a moment 👀

Now for Swift’s 2024:

  • 360,000+ bookings
  • $16M+ in online payments were processed
  • 1350+ facility owners, coaches, and front desk employees started using the software
  • 20+ major features, 200+ minor improvements, and 100k+ lines of code shipped
  • 2.5x the number of facilities using Swift, and our own team doubled to help support this growth

Before we dive into everything new to Swift this month, here is a reminder that our team will attend the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) annual convention from January 2nd to 5th. You can find us at Booth #404! Better yet, attend our first-ever in-person event for facility owners! Enjoy free drinks as you connect with fellow facility owners and share tips & tricks for surviving the chaos of the winter season.

Okay…back to the updates…December was a little lighter on new releases because we have a ton in store for you in early 2025 👀

📅 Staff Calendar View

A simple yet highly requested improvement to the Swift calendar has been a way to view each coach's schedule. Different from staff availability, this new togglable view on the main calendar will switch the columns to represent your staff/instructors rather than rooms.

This means at a glance you can see when an instructor is booked for a lesson, where a gap in their availability is (to add another booking), and scroll between all instructors easily.

This calendar view also comes with its own permissions - allowing you to let staff view their own calendar schedule but not interfere with any bookings for example.

✉️ Self Serve Email Change

Our support staff has been slammed with requests since the early days of Swift from facility owners wishing to change the emails associated with a client's account. Apart from making our lives easier, we know this is an annoyance on your end too.

To make everyone's lives easier (and faster), clients can now change their email within their Swift account with a few quick clicks. No more emails back and forth with your clients and us to put in an email change - simply direct them to https://book.runswiftapp/account/profile

📊 Bookings Report

Searching through past and future bookings has been restricted to the calendar within Swift - until now. The new bookings report will allow you to get a snapshot of all bookings within a certain time period. Within the report, you will also find if the bookings have been paid or partially paid, an archive of the booking notes, and some visualizations to help see how your facility is performing over time!

This is just our first step at expanding and improving our reporting. Expect much more here in the new year!

🔍 Customer Search Improvements

Across the Swift app, numerous search fields allow you to search customer lists. Be it within the “Customer” section itself, or on the calendar when adding a customer to a booking, these search fields are important - and previously a little bit buggy. For facilities with large customer lists, searching was very slow.

We’ve dramatically improved the search performance - future proofing for facilities of thousands and thousands of customers.

I’ll spare you the jargon and details (I don’t understand it myself 😅) but our intern Alex shared test results before the feature was released highlighting just how fast & efficient the improvements are. TLDR: we’ve made customer search 4x faster!

📨 Email Send Limit Increase

After releasing massive improvements to our email marketing feature last month, we’re back with another small update. Previously, the send limit for any email blast was roughly 10,000 emails. We’ve upped that limit with some fancy engineering - allowing our large facilities to market to their entire client list without hassle easily.

👀 That’s great! Now what’s 2025 going to look like?

Our team is dedicated to making Swift a faster, easier, and more beautiful experience for you, your staff, and your customers. We plan to make 2025 our best year yet delivering for all of our facilities and the clients using Swift.

Here’s what’s ahead: 

Our first in-person event is literally this week! A facility owners’ happy hour at the ABCA Convention on Friday, January 3rd! - PS… there will be free beer 🍻

There are lots of cool features coming in the new year, but here’s a sneak peek at some of them:

  4. A notification center to help you decide how you want to get notified
